How to Create Domain

Domain is used for maintaining the consistency across various data sources when we have same set of information in a database while performing masking.

Pre-requisites

Controller must be installed. For detailed information about the installation process, refer Install DSM Administrator in Linux and Install DSM Administrator in Windows.

Steps to create Domain

The following section of this page outlines the step-by-step procedure to create domain in the product:

1. Login to the PK Protect application.
   

2. In the navigation panel, click Domain. The Domain screen will appear.
   

3. The next step is to fill in the details for the domain. The domain feature grants the ability to determine the scope of consistency up to which sensitive data should be masked/encrypted. To know more about each field, refer Create a Domain.
