PKWARE Enterprise Manager Virtual Appliance – OS and Major Packages

In the December 2020 release PKWARE has introduced a new version of the PKWARE Virtual Appliance, referred to as ‘Appliance version 2’. This virtual appliance replaces the prior version of the virtual appliance and contains a new collection of updated 3rd party packages.

 

Virtual Appliance Version and Software Compatibilities

  • The PKWARE Enterprise Manager (PEM) software that is compatible with the PKWARE Virtual Appliance Version 2 is PEM 18.8.x and newer.
  • The latest version of the PKWARE Enterprise Manager (PEM) software that is compatible with the PKWARE Virtual Appliance Version 1 is PEM 18.7.86 (released September 2020).
  • A migration path is supported between PKWARE Virtual Appliance v1 and PKWARE Virtual Appliance v2. For information regarding migration, please contact your PKWARE support representative.
