.Add IDP

Perform the following steps to add an IDP:

  1. Click Add IDP. A dialog box will appear.


    The fields are described below:

    1. Name: Provide the IDP name.

    2. IDP Type: Select the IDP type from the dropdown.

    3. Hostname/IP: Provide the hostname or the IP address of the machine hosting the IDP.

    4. Port: Provide the port number. The default port number specific to the IDP will be auto populated.

    5. SSL Type: An SSL certificate enhances the security by allowing you to run PK Protect in a safe environment. The certificates are installed at both client and server end. Select the SSL type authentication from the dropdown.

      1. None: Select this option if you do not want to apply any authentication.

      2. One Way: In this SSL authentication, only the client verifies the certificate of the server to ensure that it receives data from the trusted server.

      3. Two Way: In this SSL authentication, the client, and the server both authenticate each other to ensure that both parties are trusted.

        *Note: SSL Type field will be available for some of the IDPs.

    6. Click Save.
