Address Line 1 and Address Line 2

The Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 protection option is used for masking the Address field data in the table. This type of masking is applicable only on columns having String data type. It generates a false random address in whichever column it is applied.

Both Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 provide the same Case Options i.e., Title Case, UpperCase and LowerCase.

  1. Title Case: If you select the Title Case option, the data in the field capitalizes the first letter of each word. E.g., in the below image, if you want to mask the off_add field in the database with some false value then you can apply either Address Line 1 or Address Line 2 protection option.

In this case, we have applied the Address Line 1 masking by choosing the Title Case Option out of the given options.

The Title Case here will generate a false value where first letter of every word is capitalized. In the below image, on executing the masking task, the highlight value for off_add field display a false value where the first letter of every word in uppercase.

  2. Upper Case: If you select the Upper-Case option, it generates a random value where every letter of the word is capitalized. E.g., in the below image, if you want to mask the off_add field in the database with some false value then you can either apply Address Line 1 or Address Line 2 protection option.

In this case, we have applied the Address Line 1 masking by choosing the Upper-Case option out of the given options.

Selecting this option will generate a false value where every letter of the word is capitalized. In the below image, on executing the masking task, the value for off_add field display a false value where the first letter of every word is in uppercase.

  3. Lower Case: If you select the Lower-Case option, it generates a random value where every letter of the word is in lower case. E.g., in the below image, if you want to mask the off_add field in the database with some false value then you can either apply Address Line 1 or Address Line 2 protection option.

In this case, we have applied the Address Line 1 masking by choosing the Lower-Case option out of the given options.

Selecting this option will generate a false value where every letter of the word is in lower case. In the below image, on executing the masking task, the value for off_add field display a false value where every letter of the word is in lower case.
