Admin (Linux)

Admin helps you to configure, and administer PK Protect. Admin console provides tools to supervise PK Protect operations, managing users, IDPs, licenses, global level configurations, and access control.

Users with Super Admin role have privilege to access Admin.

Logging In

Perform the following steps to log in to the Admin:

  1. Enter the Admin URL in the web browser.

  2. Provide the Username and Password.

  3. Click Sign In.

Home Page

This is the Admin Status page. This page offers a high-level view of the system and tasks. The Home page is segregated into two vertical panels:

  1. General System Overview
    This panel displays information about the system such as, number of IDPs connected, database connections, registered users, sessions currently logged in, PK Protect version etc.

  2. Overall System Load
    This panel displays information about PK Protect tasks, module-wise, such as task type, number of tasks executed, task instances, running instances etc.


    To sort the columns in ascending or descending order and to hide or unhide the columns, click the downward button next to the column header. Select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending to sort the columns in ascending or descending order. You can also hide or unhide the columns by clicking the Columns option under download button. Uncheck the columns that you want to hide.

    Click Refresh at the extreme right corner of the page to update the current page with latest information.

User Preferences

This option allows you to unhide all hidden items in the application. For detailed information, refer to Show/Hide IDP.

Change Password

Perform the following steps to change the password:

  1. Click Welcome <username> at top of the screen to reveal a dropdown.

  2. Select the Change Password option.

  3. The Change Password pop-up will appear.

  4. Enter the Current Password.

  5. Enter the New Password.

  6. Retype the password to confirm the password.

  7. Click Change Password.

Help

A screen specific discussion of the Admin application is available in the Online Help. The Online Help can be accessed from any page in Admin via Help dropdown displayed at the extreme right corner of the screen.

Perform the following steps to access the Online Help:

  1. Click Help to reveal a dropdown.

  2. Select the Help option.

  3. A new window will open in a different tab which will display screen specific information.

About

The About option displays the version of the application. To access this option, click Help drop-down displayed at the extreme right corner of the screen in Admin. Perform the following steps:

  1. Click Help dropdown.

  2. Select the About option.

  3. A pop-up with the current version details will appear.

Sign Out

Perform the following steps to sign out from the Admin:

  1. Click Welcome<Username> to reveal a dropdown.

  2. Select the Sign Out option.

  3. This option will log you out from the Admin console.
