PK Protect supports detection on Enscribe Files. For this purpose, we need Files IDP to be installed on tandem environment. Controller will be on a remote machine.
Pre-requisites for files IDP installation:
LocalFilesAgent_8.x.x.x.x.tar and nonStopInstallFilesIDP.sh should be available on the Tandem box.
There should be a two-way connectivity between Tandem box and the remote machine where the controller is installed.
Perform the below steps to install the Files IDP for Enscribe Files.
Connect to the Tandem OSS and go to the location where the above tar and Korn shell file exists.
Provide execution rights to the Korn shell file and invoke it. Run nonStopInstallFilesIDP.sh to start the installation.
Accept the license agreement and select the following options:
Path of LocalFilesAgent_8.x.x.x.x.tar
Path of tdmext.jar
Click enter to complete the installation by untarring the tar file at the specified installation path. This would automatically set filesystem.type property in HDFSAgentConfig.properties to non-stop.
Below are the configuration settings to support detection on Enscribe files.
Open jetty-embedded.properties file located at …/DgSecure/Agents/LocalFilesAgent/ and add -Xmx16g -Xms4g -d64 to the java options.
For example, JavaOptions=-Dlog4j.configurationFile=./expandedArchive/WEB-INF/classes/log4j2.xml -Xmx16g -Xms4g -d64.
*Note: The Xmx/Xms values will be determined based on the Tandem box configuration and can be changed.
Open ‘HDFSAgentConfig.properties’ file located at ‘…/DgSecure/Agents/LocalFilesAgent/expandedArchive/WEB-INF/classes/’ and update the property nonstop.datadictionary.path=<Location of the data dictionary>.
Also Update the property enscribe.reporting.level=F (default value). This property denotes the Field Name Prefix Level. The value for this property can be one out of three values, F (Only field name), G (Group name + Field name), and R (Full qualified field name).
Update ‘file_mapping’ file located at ‘…/DgSecure/Agents/LocalFilesAgent/expandedArchive/WEB-INF/classes/structure_info/enscribe/’.
This file contains the mapping of a fixed layout enscribe file to its layout in the data dictionary. The entries need to be done in the following format.
Physical File-Name Name or Wildcard (req'd)||Dictionary Layout Name (req'd)||Logical Name (opt)
Restart the IDP.
