Cassandra

To access RESULTS page in Cassandra, click NoSQL > Cassandra > Results.

The Results screen gives comprehensive information about the detected sensitive types and the outcome of the detection process. It displays the list of all the task instances and other information. It also displays the name of the Column and Column Family Name across which the data was detected. The different tabs in the Overview panel displays other set of information such as, the count of hits for each sensitive type in the selected collection, unique count of each sensitive type, etc.

This screen is divided into two panels:

  1. Task Instances
    This panel displays the list of all the instances of the task that can be in any of the state (Running, Failed, Cancelled, Completed). It displays the basic information of the task such as, ID (system generated), Task Name, Status, Start and End Time.


    There are few other common functionalities through which you can sort the values in the column header, filter the data, download the results in CSV or PDF format, etc. To know more, visit NoSQL Common Controls.

    1. Re-execute: To execute the task again, click the Re-execute icon in the Action column. This will trigger the selected instance of the task again.

    2. With Results: Check this checkbox to view only those task instances in the Task Instances panel for which the results get displayed. Upon checking the checkbox, the Task Instances panel displays only those tasks for which, the Overview panel display results.

    3. Show: Click this Show icon under the Actions column corresponding to the selected hidden task that you want to unhide. If you’ve checked the Show Hidden Items checkbox in the User Preferences, the hidden task will appear as greyed out, else it will not be visible on the screen.

    4. Hide: Click this Hide icon under the Actions column corresponding to the selected task that you want to hide. If you’ve checked the Show Hidden Items checkbox in the User Preferences, the hidden task will appear as greyed out, else it will not be visible on the screen.

    5. View Task: To view the details of any task, click this View Task icon displayed under the Actions column corresponding to that task. On doing so, the user will be redirected to the Task Definitions screen, where you can view, edit, delete, hide, and execute that task.

    6. Cancel Task: To cancel the running task, click this Cancel icon displayed under the Actions column corresponding to that task. This cancels the running task, and the Status of the task is updated to Cancelled.

  2. Overview
    This panel displays information for the sensitive data discovered in the Keyspace. The Overview panel displays information in the following tabs:

    1. Task Overview
      This tab displays information for all the instances of the task that have been executed to detect sensitive data. It consists of three sub-tabs:

      1. Task Instance Details
        This sub-tab displays information for all the instances of the task that have been executed to detect sensitive data. It displays information such as, Task ID (system generated), Task Name, Sampling Configuration, KeySpace Name etc. 

      2.  Connections

        This sub-tab displays the details of the connection that is associated with the task. It displays information such as, Connection Name, Connection Type, and Connection Attribute.

      3. Policies/ Sensitive Data Types

        This sub-tab displays the list of policies and sensitive data types that are associated with the task.

      4. Database Object Filters
        The sub-tab displays only those collections/columns that matches with the applied filter. The columns display information such as, Operator, Connection Information, Column Family Operator, Column Family Filter, Column Operator, Column Filter.

    2. Results
      This tab displays the column name along with other information such as, Sensitive Data Group, Keyspace Name, and Column Family Table to which it belongs.

    3. Detailed Result
      This tab provides the detailed information for the sensitive type discovered in the Keyspace. It displays the Hit Count for each sensitive type discovered in the keyspace for the specific database. Along with this information, it displays the HostName, Column Name, Column Family Name, Quick Search, Confidence, and Null Count.

    4. Data Scanned

      This tab displays the list of all keyspace names that are scanned. It displays the other information for the scanned keyspace such as the Total Rows, Total Size, Sampled Rows, Column Family Table, and size of the Sampled Data.
