The Common module contains only one report, i.e., Scanning Progress Snapshot, that provides overall summary of the scanned data as exposed, protected, safe and skipped in percentage for all PK Protect modules.
The report is divided into two sections. The top section displays the data for all source systems in tabular form and the bottom section display the same information as graphs. The values in the graph section are calculated in percentage.
The top section groups the source names based on the modules and modules are grouped based on the Server Types i.e. On-Premises and Cloud. You can view the detailed information for all the source names that are associated with a module.
Hovering over any field of the table, displays the data label. This data label provides information for the selected field.
E.g., with reference to below screenshot, when you hover over the Total row in first column. It displayed the size of data and the number of tables scanned for MySQL source which is grouped under DBMS module for On-Premises IDP.
The bottom section displays the information in the form of bar charts for all the source systems associated with different modules. The data for charts is calculated in percentage and the same is displayed on the top of each bar chart.
Hovering over any bar, displays the data label for the selected bar. This provides details such as the Server Type, Source Name, Source Type, Exposed (%), Exposed Size, etc.
To view the detailed report at source level for the scanned data, click Plus icon available with the module name. This displays detailed summary of the scanned data as exposed, protected, safe and skipped in percentage for all PK Protect modules.
You can roll-up to a higher level of grouping till modules. To roll-up, go to the left side of the DBMS data source and click the Minus icon.
On clicking the Minus icon, the source systems associated with the different modules will be hidden and you can view the detailed summary for the modules.
You can apply filter by clicking the icon on the top the left corner of the report. On clicking, it will display three dimensions based on which the data in the report can be filtered.
Server Type – There are three options based on which a server type can be selected.
(All) – If you select this option, then it displays the data in the report for all supported servers.
On-Premises – if you select this option, then it displays data for all the source systems which are hosted on On-Premises.
Cloud – If you select this option, then it displays data for all the source systems which are hosted on Cloud.
If you want to select a Server Type, check the checkbox(s) available with the option. Using this option, you can filter out the data based on the Server Type selected.
Source Type – This filter lets you opt for either all source systems or specific source systems as per your need.
If you want to select a Source Type, check the checkbox available with the option displayed. Using this option, you can filter out the data based on the Source Type selected.
Measure Names – This is the third dimension based on which the data in the report can be filtered. There are four measures:
If you want to select a Measure, then click on the name and click the Keep Only option. Similarly, to exclude any measure from the report, click Exclude option.
