The DSM Administrator calls an IDP irrespective of whether it is in active state or inactive state because it has been configured to remedy any instances that fail or encounter error. To limit the exhaustion of resources and time as a consequence of this, a new feature to permanently decommission an IDP has been implemented
Following are the steps for decommissioning an IDP.
Go to IDPs under IDP Management.
Select the IDP that needs to be decommissioned.
The IDP’s status will change to decommissioned.
