The Detection Connection allows user to perform discovery in the NoSQL supported Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchBase and DynamoDB). This process helps in establishing a connection between the controller and the data source.
Following are the pre-requisites for creating a detection connection:
NoSQL IDP must be Installed. It will allow user to create detection connection for the supported NoSQL databases. To know more, refer Install NoSQL IDP.
Steps to create Detection Connection
The following section of this page outlines the step-by-step of creating a detection connection for NoSQL databases.
Login to the PK Protect application.
Go to NoSQL > Connection Manager > Connection. Click Add New Connection button on top of the screen.
