OpenID Connect Configuration

OpenID Connect (OIDC) is an authentication protocol for granting access to data and features from one application to another without knowing the user. This setting allows you to enable OpenID Connect.

  1. Click the Enable radio button to enable the configuration. Click Disable to disable it.

  2. Select the role from the Role drop-down.’

  3. Select the provider type from the Provider Type drop-down.

  4. Enter the name of the provider in the Provider Name text box.

  5. Enter the client ID in the Client ID text box. This ID will get generated in the application that is supported.

  6. Enter the secret key in the Secret Key text box.

  7. Enter the text that you want to display on the button, on the Button Text text box.

  8. Select Automatic Discovery radio button to automatically populate the remaining fields. Select Manual Discovery radio button to enter the values manually.

  9. Enter the application url in the Metadata Discovery URL text box. This field will be available with Automatic Discovery.

  10. Enter the authorize, token and user info endpoint.

  11. Enter the scope in the Scope text box.

  12. Click Save Settings button.
