RDBMS-Connection

This section provides a high-level overview of the Connections List tab on the Connections screen. The user interface for Connections List tab is depicted below:

The top panel lets you select the connection group in the Select Group drop-down. The Select Group drop-down lists the five pre-defined connections groups:

  1. Connection IDP: This option will categorize the connections based on the IDP i.e., Detection and Masking.

  2. Connection Type: This option will display the name of the data sources. The available connection types are MySQL, Oracle, Salesforce, SQL Server, and Teradata.

  3. Host Name: This option will categorize the connection based on the Host Name. A host name can be an IP address or a random network name.

  4. Location: This option will categorize the connection based on the Location. It can either be On-Premises or Cloud.

  5. Username: This option will categorize the connection based on the database user name.

The left panel displays all available connections based on the selection made in the Select Group drop-down.

In the right panel, all the connections created by the user will be displayed. The user can view the list of connections based on the selection made in Select Group drop-down. It provides the basic details for the listed connection such as, ID, Connection Name, Connection Type, Host Name/URL etc.
