Result

The Result screen in Find DBMS displays the information about the searched databases on an organization’s IP range or network. This screen displays the list of all task instances that have been executed by the user.

To access the Result screen, click RDBMS > CONNECTION MANAGER > FIND DBMS > RESULT.

The screen is divided into two panels:

  1. Task List
The Task List panel displays the list of task instances that have been executed by the user. It also shows the status of the task i.e., completed, failed, started, etc. Following are the options available on this screen.

    1. Re-execute: To re-execute the task, click the re-execute icon displayed under the Actions column.

    2. Maximize: To maximize the panel, click the window icon on the top right corner of the panel. To minimize the panel back to its normal size, click the double window icon on the top right corner of the panel.

    3. Hide: To hide a task, click Hide icon displayed under the Actions column. If you’ve checked the Show Hidden Items checkbox in the User Preferences, the hidden tasks will appear greyed out else it will not be visible on the screen.

For example, in the below image, the My_SQL_search task is not visible on the screen after clicking the Hide icon. This happens because the Show Hidden Items checkbox is unchecked in the User Preferences.

    4. Refresh: To load the panel with updated data. Click the refresh icon in the bottom right corner of the Task List panel.

  2. Overview

The Overview panel displays the results of the executed tasks. It represents the data sources searched for the selected IP range or network in tabular and graphical form.

You can also maximize the panel by clicking the window icon on the top right corner of the panel. To minimize the panel back to normal size, click the double window icon.

Three tabs are displayed in this panel:

    1. Details: This tab displays the basic information about the task selected in the Task List panel. It displays the name of the task and other information such as, Task Description, Scan Type, IP Ranges, Start and End Time, etc.

The list of all the databases which were selected during the task creation are displayed along with their port numbers.

    2. Results Overview: This tab displays the data in graphical representation. It shows the type of databases searched for the selected IP range or network. It displays two charts i.e., a bar chart and a pie chart.

      1. The bar chart displays the type of databases detected in the selected IP range or network. Hovering over the chart will display the number of databases detected in the selected IP range or network.

You can download the image in various formats, print it and can also view the chart in full screen. To know more, visit Common Functionality.

      2. The Pie chart displays the percentage of the different databases detected in the network.

The Draw Chart radio buttons provides two options based on which the chart can be viewed with and without scaling option. The With Scale option divides the chart based on the percentage of the databases detected in the network whereas the Without Scale option divides the chart in equal parts irrespective of the percentage of databases detected in the network. Hovering over the chart displays the percentage of the databases detected in the network.

You can download the image in various formats, print it and can also view the chart in full screen. To know more, visit Common Controls.

There are few common functionalities available for each of the chart in the Results Overview tab. You can download, print, and view the individual chart in the results section.

        1. View Full screen: To view the chart in full screen mode, click the   icon on the top right corner of the chart and select the View in full screen option.

        2. Print Chart: To print the chart, click  icon on the top right corner of the chart and select Print Chart option.

        3. Download: To download the chart data in PNG, JPEG, PDF and SVN Vector format. Click the  icon on the top right corner of the chart and select the download option as per your requirement.

        4. Detailed Results: This tab displays the list of all the databases which were detected for the selected IP range or network. It displays the information about the database such as, Database Type, IP Address on which it was installed, HostName and the designated port number.
