Scheduled DSAR Task

Once you have created an RoA/RtE task under DSAR, the next step is to schedule the DSAR task using the Scheduler screen. Access the Scheduler screen by clicking Scheduler in the navigation panel.

Perform the below steps to schedule a DSAR task:

  1. Select DSAR from the Select Module drop-down to view the list of the tasks associated with that module.

  2. Check the checkbox(s) in the left-hand side of the Task Scheduler panel corresponding to the tasks that you want to schedule.

  3. In Start Date, specify the date when the scheduler will start executing the selected tasks.

  4. In End Date, specify the date when the scheduler will stop executing the selected tasks. Select No end date option if you want the scheduler to keep executing the tasks.

  5. Select the Schedule Type from the drop-down. The following options are available:

    1. Daily:  Select this option if you want to schedule the task on daily basis. Below are the accompanying fields that appears after selecting this option:

      1. Recurs every: Set the frequency (in days).

      2. Occurs once at: Use this option to perform the task once in a day. Specify at what time you want to perform the task.

      3. Occurs every: Use this option to perform the task after every few hours by specifying the hours, Start Date, and End Date.

    2. Hourly: Select this option to schedule the task in every few hours. Below is the accompanying field that appears after selecting this option:

      1. Interval Time: Specify the number of hours after which you want the task to occur.

    3. Monthly: Select this option to schedule the task on the selected days of the month. Below are the accompanying fields that appears after selecting this option:

      1. Select the Day of one or more Months to perform the task.

      2. Select a specific Weekday of one or more Months to perform the task.

      3. Occurs once at: Use this option to perform the task once in a day. Specify at what time you want to perform the task.

      4. Occurs every: Use this option to perform the task in every few hours by specifying the hours, Start Date and End Date.

    4. Once: Select this option to schedule the task only once.

    5. Weekly: Select this option to schedule the task on the selected days of the week. Below are the accompanying fields that appears after selecting this option:

      1. Check the Days of the week to schedule the task.

      2. Occurs once at: Use this option to perform the task once in a day. Specify at what time you want to perform the task.

      3. Occurs every: Use this option to perform the task in every few hours by specifying the hours, Start Date and End Date.

  6. Click on the Schedule button to complete the action.

View Details of DSAR Tasks

There are three tabs in the bottom panel where you can view the details of the DSAR tasks, as below.

  1. Scheduled Task: This tab displays the list of the scheduled tasks. At this point, the system is ready to process the DSAR tasks. You can edit or delete a scheduled task by clicking the Pen and Trash icons respectively under the Actions column.

  2. Scheduled Status: This tab displays the status of the task that has been executed by the scheduler as well as the logs (displayed in the Logs panel) for that corresponding task.

    The Scheduled Status tab displays the status of the scheduled task along with other information such as, Task Instance ID (system generated), Task Name, Execution Type, Status of the task, Percentage of Completion, Start, and End Time of the task.

    The Logs panel displays the information of the executed task such as, Entity ID, Execution Type, Message, Host Name, Status, Schema Name, and Table Name. For example, when a certain task instance is selected, the Logs panel displays the details regarding that task like its execution type, particular message for that execution (Task Completed), status details, etc.

  1. Not Scheduled: This tab displays the list of all the tasks that have not been scheduled yet. It displays information such as, Task ID (system generated) and Task Name.
