SSL

The SSL page is for administration of the SSL certificate presented by the Smartcrypt Enterprise Manager. Options on this page allow server and root certificates to be imported and can also generate a self-signed certificate if needed.

Upload PKCS#12

Upload a certificate in PKCS#12 format. Choose file, enter the password and click Upload.

Generate Self-Signed

Generate a self-signed certificate. Note: This option is only appropriate for initial setup. Self-signed certificates are not trusted by browsers, making them not meant for production use.

Custom Trusted Root Certificates

In the case where the certificate chain is not trusted, the trusted root certificate can be uploaded to the Smartcrypt Enterprise Manager. Click Upload Root, choose the file and click Upload to import a custom trusted root certificate.
