Set Locker Options

Your system administrator may have provided you with one or more Locker folders. Dropping or saving any file into this folder automatically encrypts that file with a Smartkey.

The Lockers page in Security Options displays a list of these locked folders.

Setting Up Locker Service

Before you can see and use lockers, you need to set up the PK Protect service on Windows. On this Options page, click Configure Service. What happens next depends on how you're connected to the PEM Administrator.

You can only configure a locker service once. The button will be greyed-out when your service is configured. See these topics:

Identifying Locker Status

Once you've set up the PK Protect Service for your agent, its status appears on this page:

Running: Locker Service is functional, and files in this folder are encrypted.

Stopped: Locker Service has been stopped.
