In order to run PK Protect on Linux/UNIX you must configure a user account to be used. This account will determine which policy settings will be used.
Creating your managed login credentials in the settings.json file
/usr/pkware/pkzip/bin/pkagent --config --email email@example.com --iwa password
Creating your unmanaged login credentials in the settings.json file
/usr/pkware/pkzip/bin/pkagent --config --email firstname.lastname@example.org --master password
Changing user accounts.
If you need to change the user account that has been configured you will need to stop PEM AGENT first before configuring the new user.
Now you can configure the new user by using the commands above. To login and test the new account settings, list the Smartkeys for this user.
