Restore Folders

A path is a sequence of folders and subfolders that lead to a file from some starting place, such as a parent folder or the root folder of a drive.

If path information was saved for a file in an archive, PK Protect can recreate the folders on the saved path when you extract the file. The path is created starting from the folder you pick as the destination when you extract.

To use saved path information to recreate folders on a path:

1.  Click Extract Files (or select Options from the Application Menu, then click Extraction).

2.  In the Extract Files dialog, click Options.

3.  Check the Restore folders box.
