KB - How do I generate certificates with PK Protect?
While PK Protect can be used to encrypt files with X.509 and PGP/OpenPGP keys, it is not a key management utility. X.509 certificates can be obtained through third party companies such as Comodo and Verisign. If you have access to a Windows server, they can even be generated there as well.
OpenPGP keys can be generated through an external application called GnuPG (which is not supported by PKWARE).
