Linux/UNIX: Logging In

In order to run Smartcrypt on Linux/UNIX you must configure a user account to be used. This account will determine which policy settings will be used.

Creating your managed login credentials in the settings.json file

/usr/pkware/pkzip/bin/pkagent --config --email user@domain.ext --iwa password

Creating your unmanaged login credentials in the settings.json file

/usr/pkware/pkzip/bin/pkagent --config --email user@domain.ext --master password

 Changing user accounts.

If you need to change the user account that has been configured you will need to stop PKAGENT first before configuring the new user.

/usr/usr/pkware/pkzip/bin/pkagent --stop

Now you can configure the new user by using the commands above. To login and test the new account settings, list the Smartkeys for this user.

pkzipc -listsm
